privately printed. ANONYMOUS. Suffrage Hymn (Tune: "Oriel"). [England, c. 1908-1914]. Single leaf hymn sheet, 130 × 200 mm, printed in black on off-white wove paper. light horizontal and vertical fold creases, a few small surface marks and minor edge wear; otherwise very good. Contemporary pencil ownership inscription at head: "Antonia Raeburn". Five stanzas cast in the language of Christian equality. Antonia Raeburn (1934-2021) was one of the pioneering modern historians of the suffrage movement, best known for The Militant Suffragettes (1973) and The Suffragette View (1976), based in part on interviews with surviving rank-and-file members of the WSPU. .
